13 Tips For A Proper Date | @dorcasbasseyblog

What's going on a date like for you? Or have you gone on a date before?

Sometimes you just need to take out some time and go on a proper and special date with that one person who means the world to you. You don't have to book the best place and go all expensive to arrange a proper date for your partner, just a simple date would create magical moments. But if you can go all out to give your partner an expensive date, then why not?

The most important thing here is that you both are happy and enjoy the moment.......

Just in case You might be considering going on a date with that special person, here are a few tips to get you all set and ready for a proper date.....

1 Plan

What will it look like building a house without a proper plan?

You certainly won't get the best result, you might likely end up getting minimum value and satisfaction. Now the same goes for a date, you wouldn't want to go out on a date with your partner and you both end up not enjoying and having fun because some things didn't just go well. planning will help you out with a lot of things in place before getting ready to go on a romantic date with your loved one......

2 Consider Your Budget

What exactly do you intend to buy as you go on a date, how much will be charged for using a location, the lighting, the food, the clothes, some champagne or red wine, gifts????

Now budgeting will help you track and know how much you will be spending or intend to spendon a date. Budgeting will help you know what kind of date to arrange for, simple and moderate or classy and expensive.

It will help keep you in check so you don't spend more than you can afford..you don't have to make it too expensive or too simple, just go for whichever suits your budget...

3 Pick A Considerable And Beautiful Location.

Whether you are going on a date in the day or night, endeavour to pick a good location that will suit you and your partner's taste. You can pick a garden, or by the river, or a sandy beach, or a restaurant, or maybe on a cruise ship. Whichever location you choose, make sure it is serene and calm, of course, you wouldn't want to have your special time with your partner interrupted by unnecessary noise. Your chosen location should also have a beautiful view and large space to allow for the free flow of air.

4 Don't Be Late Man

Who keeps his/her date waiting for hours?

No matter how busy you get or whatever comes up don't keep your date waiting, it kills the excitement. Most people won't take this lightly..Courtesy demands that whoever plans for the date arrives at the location first. But if you are going to pick your partner up for the date, then be sure to be right at her place to be sure you find to keep her waiting for you to come to pick her up. If you are to come separately to the venue, make yourself available at the venue at least 20 to 30 minutes early to make sure everything is in order before your partner arrives....

5 Look Nice

There are countless dresses to choose from when going on a date, depending on the time(day or night) you must appear on something that looks good on you and will be appealing to your partner. If you are going on a dinner date, pick out a simple dress that will go well with your figure and looks, same goes for the guys too.

A long or short pencil gown will go well, or maybe a flair gown, made with light material can go well too. For ladies, this is not the time to appear all corporate just be sexy. And for guys, it's proper you appear looking corporate, not necessarily with suits though, or maybe a casual way that looks too good on you.

6 Smell Nice:

The way you smell matters a lot, for a date it's advisable you do well to smell best. Get yourself a very lovely fragrance and rock it when going on occasions like this one.

For ladies, a mild fragrance will do, something like vanilla, strawberry and many others.

Men are known for using strong fragrances, but if you must go for a date, make sure to use something good, not so strong not so mild, just in-between such that it doesn't overshadow your partner's.

7 Make Sure Everything Is Set For The Date

You certainly don't want to be found wanting while on a date.

To avoid unnecessary embarrassment, be sure that everything is ready and set for the date to begin.

It won't be nice to remember in the middle of your date that you missed out on something important or rather didn't make an arrangement for everything needed for the date...

8 Bring Some Flowers Along

Get a bouquet of beautiful and really good flowers with a lovely smell for your partner. This goes a long way to show how considerate you are and she certainly will live and appreciate you for it.You could get a kiss as a reward, who knows?

9 Cut Of Some Delicacy

You don't have to have a taste of everything while on a date, place an order for yourself and your partner but be careful not to get something too heavy, especially for a dinner date.

carefully select what you need and let your partner do the same and place your order.

Now that's not the right time to show that you are a glutton. This is to avoid tiring out after a meal when there is still so much moment to enjoy on your date.

10 Do Away With Your Phone

Keeping your phone aside can help keep your date interesting.

You don't want to keep your partner all to his/herself and focus on your phone. The essence of putting updates is to spend some time together, and the phone can be a major distraction.

So out down that gadget, and focus on your partner, you got all the time in the world after that to get back to your phone.

11 Keep conversations Alive

Be sure to equip yourself with lots of things to talk about with your partner as you go on a date.

Don't make it too boring. get to talk to your partner about so many things, you can begin with a compliment or a question to spark up further conversations, crack jokes to keep them laughing, or maybe you could sing. There are non-verbal ways you could use too to connect with your partner...just don't stop, keep the conversation alive.

12 Spice Up The Atmosphere With Some Good Music

Put on some good music to set the tone for a good atmosphere. Don't be boring, out on some music and invite your date to dance with you. Blues go well on dates, so pick out some cool blues and light up the atmosphere with Music..
