In recent times, the use of wigs by many has been on the increase. The report has it that 8 in 20 women in this part of the world wear wigs every day, but how true is this????


According to a survey conducted by the News Agency of Nigeria in 2019,81.8% of women in Nigeria wear wigs every day and would prefer them to sew-in weaves whereas only about 18.2% do not wear them with claims that they are heavy...



The use of wigs by many Nigerian women is accredited to the fact that according to them it is comfortable, stylish and time-saving, this sets the trend for the widespread of using wigs by many Nigerian women.


The price of wigs or human hair as many would term it recently has scaled up but many women wouldn't let it affect them and still are consistent in rocking them. while this might not be a problem to high-income earners and the middle class,   for the low class there may be a need to cut down on the purchase of wigs and rather go with breading their natural hair...It is also important to note that the prices of wigs are heavily dependent on the quality of hair delivered.....



While wearing wigs is dimmed fashionable and in trend, it is also important to give special attention to your natural hair.

Letting your hair breathe sometimes and freeing your head from frequent use of wigs is also advisable as it helps you maintain good hair and a healthy scalp. In giving special attention to purchasing of wigs, such attention should also be directed to taking good care of your natural hair as well....


Wigs are fashionable and of course a necessity to many women especially in this part of the world but most importantly your natural hair is of more Importance and as such should be treated and cared for too.
